Is Our Relationship Bootcamp Workshop Right for You?

Thank you for considering our Relationship Bootcamp Workshop. We believe in transparency and want to ensure that our program is the right fit for you and your partner. While our workshop is designed to help many couples strengthen their relationships, it may not be suitable for everyone. Here’s a brief overview of who might not benefit fully from this experience.

Who Might Not Be a Good Fit for Our Workshop?

  • Couples in Crisis Due to Abuse:

    • If your relationship is currently experiencing any form of abuse (physical, emotional, or verbal), this workshop is not the appropriate setting for addressing these serious issues. We strongly recommend seeking specialized help from a professional experienced in dealing with abusive relationships.

  • Individuals with Active Addictions:

    • If one or both partners are struggling with active addictions (substance abuse, gambling, etc.), it is crucial to address these issues first in a setting focused on addiction treatment and recovery. Effective relationship work can be more successful once sobriety and stability are established.

  • Partners with Severe Mental Health Issues:

    • Severe mental health conditions that require intensive, individualized therapy should be addressed with the help of mental health professionals. Our workshop is not equipped to handle severe psychiatric issues, and participants in need of such care may not benefit from the group setting.

  • Couples with No Commitment to Change:

    • If one or both partners are not genuinely committed to improving the relationship, or if there is a lack of willingness to engage in the activities and exercises, this workshop might not provide the desired results. Success in our program requires active participation and a mutual desire for growth.

  • Highly Conflictual Relationships:

    • For couples experiencing extreme levels of conflict, our workshop may not provide the immediate, intensive intervention needed. Such relationships might benefit more from focused, one-on-one therapy sessions before participating in a group workshop setting.

Alternative Recommendations

If any of the above situations apply to you, we recommend considering the following alternatives:

  • Individual Therapy: Address personal issues or mental health conditions with a licensed therapist.

  • Specialized Counseling: Seek out professionals who specialize in abuse, addiction, or severe mental health issues.

  • Conflict Resolution Therapy: Engage in couple’s therapy focused specifically on high-conflict resolution.
